hello. i came online at around 11.40pm.. sian..so little people around :( nevertheless, i shall end my day by typing a post before getting started with my math tutorial ,which has been left untouched since thursday :p
my tribe leader, wei loon shared about how faithful God is towards those who trust in Him. "those who don't trust in Him, may miss out His blessings." yes, God loves us and it's His very heart's desire to bless us, who are His children. but if we were to simply trust in Him, be faithful and give thanks always, pressing on with prayers, we can see Him move FASTER, POWERFULY, greater than you can ever imagine.
Wei Loon shared abou how God has blessed him in his work. He was handed a "dead" account, making only a few hundred dollars of sales unlike others which earn like a few thousands. He trust in God. and as the account is being managed by him, the sales figure actually went up TEN times the amount and was commended by the company's CEO. everyone is amazed with the result. all he did was to simply talk with his customers (some aunties), about their lives, children, etc, didn't mention much about his agenda. and they bought from him.
yes, cheesily speaking, the account "resurrected", just like Lord Jesus Christ. :)
and i believe that this is not done by a man's might alone. he must have prayed a lot and the Lord was with him as he work, so that he can succeed.
last week, he shared that a dream is something that requires high level of determination and perseverance. So, in this year of Sabbath, we are encouraged to think about our dreams. dreams are not what they are if they are easy to be realised. So dare to dream big and also dare to go all out for ur dreams, never give up.
In everything he did he had great success, because the LORD was with him.

08s31 first class outing! Cycling from east coast park to changi village!
What BIG DOGS! Faustina call them wolf-dogs. but they are tamed, beautiful and...CUTE. We de yi wang xing..go sayang the dogs until owner dun dare to stop us. haha.
lem and vui on the ONLY double bike. i shall not comment any further on this :p thanks to vui, we got our bikes at 5 bucks each till 3pm. haha. just joking. the uncle nice. nothing to do with vui.

my picture became a reality tonight. After 3rd period PE, Niming, vivian, lemuel, yanzhu, leanne and i went to the treehouse.. niming, vivian, lem and i were sityting on the bridge... but no guitar la... no singing too..just talking... after that, we went through the chem tutorial together... yanzhu and leanne left the treehouse.. we waited for simin's music lesson to end, then go dinner at thaipan together :) What a great time!

A testimony that I want to share.
I was waiting for my mother and sister as they take the time to shop for new clothes. Sitting at the corer of the shop, I started ponder upon question of my spiritual life. NO, it’s not doubt. I truly believe in the existence of God. But I feel that my faith is not enough.
I prayed quietly that God will build up my faith as I remember pastor saying what really matters who did you place ur faith upon, not how big ur faith is. Of course, God is great.
I prayed that I will be able to exercise spiritual powers, to be able to use whatever spiritual gifts He had to empower me with, so that as I have the capability to use these gifts to minister to others and be a blessing, hopefully my faith will grow as I see miracles happening. Yeah, to move in the power of the Holy Spirit.
I prayed that I will be able to hear Him speak too.
I prayed about my future plans too, that I will get to know Him better and along the way, learn to trust in Him, that He has the best in store for me in the future, as promised in His Word.
On the way back, suddenly there’s this line that appear in my mind. It was a verse shared by Meixin in my church’s countdown party yesterday.
"Lean not on your understanding…"
Well, Meixin forgot what the next half of this verse is. But somehow, this part of the verse is actually enough to answer all the questions I have been feeling frustrated over. I was like…"YES! This is the answer!" I soon thought of another verse that goes something like "the peace of God transcends all understanding…" yes, I should learn to trust Him without asking too many questions. As long as I seek him earnestly, I will be able to draw close to Him.
Moments later, I was wondering, how did that verse come along? Was it the Holy Spirit speaking to me?
