Went to Shalom's house yesterday to celebrate his birthday. We have not met each other for 5 years! it's been a great time mixing with him, Auntie Grace, Uncle Joshua, Auntie Maria, Dolly and Glenda ( he is in VS now :D ) they were even more surprised and very happy to know that i am saved.

God always add good things onto our lives + . Even bad things happen for His greater purpose. Their steadfastness with God really inspires me and i am thankful, for the Lord has been with them :) Shalom's family can definitely testify to that and i am truly touched.

hi!

it's been eons since i entered a new post for blog. I was busy with J1 promos, PW and other matters.

i wanna thank God for the wonderful results for promos..
A for Chemistry (from E during MY )
i remembered myself sitting at the similar position in the classroom when i received my MY paper, calculating how much i need to score for promos to get an A for overall grade [20% MY, 80% promos] i estimated that i need about astonishingly, 80 for promos..well, probably possible in primary and secondary school. yeah, so i thank God for blessing me with the wisdom to cope with Chemistry an achieved the almost-impossible!
A for Mathematics (from E during MY )
i owe this to Deborah, God-sent spiritual sister. She showed me the way to study for maths. thanks sis!
B for Biology (maintained, though the paper was tough and i left questions worth about 20+ marks blank!!)
E for GP
(drop from 'B', which i have had no idea how i did it. btw, i fail my essay this time round. compre paper [which was anther miracle when i didn't do so well for summary and AQ. when i received the paper and saw the score, i was wondering where did all those content marks come from.] comprehension paper, MY score and the moderation pulled my score up. )
E for Geography ( maintained)
(ok, i was really blessed even though i know it is not a very impressive score. i remembered i was trying to cramp 2/3 of the syllabus 3 hours before the paper. i thought i have a great chance of failing the paper with so many many blanks! i received the median score (which mean the cohort did badly too) and the moderation allowed me to pass! still, i need to work hard on my geog.

Right now, i am still leading a rather meaningful life ( i won't say "busy"). So, i am sort of taking a break in the midst of everything to pen down my thoughts :)

As i was saying, right now my PW group is preparing for Oral Presentation. it has been a pleasant experience working with them, felt fortunate to have them as my teammates, though sometimes, we can be quite slacky...but overall it is still good :)

Oh, 27 days to OCIP! yes, i am flying to Laos with 30 other Victorians to Laos for OCIP! I has been exciting thinking and preparing for the trip. I thank God for allowing me to have the privilege to serve in the charity committee! thank God for the harvest! we have certainly manage to raise so much funds beyond our expectation! God's heart must be with the poor at Laos. Can't wait to experience what God wants to put me through :)

though these have been hard work, yes...i feel tired but i still enjoy!

this post is specially dedicated to Vui Yung and Vivian.

thank God for this very generous friend, who simply finds joy in giving to others.

vui yong, if you're reading this, may you be blessed by this verse i have dedicated to you:

"A generous man will himself be blessed,
for he shares his food with the poor."
Proverbs 22:9

i will like to thank Vivian for the beautiful file which has Psalm 130:5 printed on it and it is RED :)

"I wait for the LORD, my soul waits,
and in his word I put my hope."
Psalm 130:5

My family and i went to eat lor mee and kaya roti at Amoy Street in late morning:) haha..it has been a long time since we have gone out to eat together! after that, we went to chinatown to shop! perhaps becos it's public hols today...it is so crowded! haha. Oh..i bought two CDs, with a collection of ABBA's and The Beatles' songs. As i am typing this, i am listening to "Honey, Honey".

Met up with Lemuel, Jazz and Wei Liang at Dhoby Ghaut..went to find our free Hagan Daz ice cream. Unexpectedly, there is no queue at all. the ice cream was just a complimentary gift from p.OSH shop. haha.

We went to Istana. haha. the president' residence is so big...
Imagine that you...
...will need to DRIVE from one of ur house to the other...
...have two lifts in ur house...
...have chandeliers in the rooms (or rather, halls) instead of energy-saving light bulbs...
...have a pair of swans as ur pets.

sorry, i sounded like sua gu. LOL.
